It happens every spring, and this year was no exception: Predazzo and Hallbergmoos – just outside Munich – come together once again, strengthening a bond that goes far beyond the formalities of a twinning agreement.
For over thirty years, these two communities have shared a journey built on exchanges, relationships, and moments experienced together. A connection shaped over time, renewed each year with the arrival of the warmer season, when Bavaria opens its doors to the Frühlingfest, the traditional spring festival.

It is here that the twinning truly comes to life.
Not only through official ceremonies, but above all in the most authentic dimension of the encounter: around long tables, with music, toasts, and conversations that overcome every language barrier—and the 345 kilometers that separate Hallbergmoos from Predazzo. The Frühlingfest thus becomes the symbol of a living relationship, one that evolves while preserving its identity.
What makes this occasion special, once again, is the hospitality of the German community led by Mayor Benjamin Henn, who welcomes the delegation from Trentino with genuine warmth and participation. A reception that reflects the deeper value of this bond.

Equally important is the contribution of those who, over the years, have worked to keep this bridge between the two territories strong: Thomas Henning, a long-standing reference point in organizing the exchanges, and Max Förg, a key figure behind the success of the event.
And then there are the “pardaciani,” the people of Predazzo, who take part every year with enthusiasm, bringing with them anecdotes, stories, and that natural inclination for togetherness that makes this Italian-German two-day celebration truly unique.

At a time when relationships between communities often risk remaining only on paper, the twinning between Predazzo and Hallbergmoos continues to tell a different story—one of presence, continuity, and mutual respect. Because, in the end, it’s not just spring that returns: it is a friendship that, year after year, chooses to renew itself.
