August, you are finally here.
Yes, we have been waiting for you. Just like we wait for the holidays marked on the calendar, or that inevitable countdown that begins shortly before departure. That growing desire to feel summer “on our skin”, as someone might say.
And so, with the arrival of August, Predazzo enters the heart of its most vibrant season: the village comes alive, the squares become meeting places, the streets of the town centre tell stories of traditions and creativity, while the Dolomites provide an extraordinary natural backdrop for a rich calendar of events for adults and children alike.
From 3 to 8 August, every day and every evening becomes an invitation to discover a different side of Predazzo: a journey made of emotions, encounters and shared moments, bringing together locals and visitors in that unique atmosphere that only summer in the mountains can offer. The appointments will take place in Piazza Santi Filippo e Giacomo, along the streets of the town centre, and in the spaces dedicated to culture and community.
The week opens with music and tradition thanks to the Banda Sociale di Molina di Fiemme, the main guest of Monday evening. The appointment is at 9:00 pm in Piazza Santi Filippo e Giacomo. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at the Cinema Teatro.
An evening dedicated to the sounds and heritage of band music, opening the week with an enchanting atmosphere in the historic centre of Predazzo.
Tuesday evening is dedicated to families and children with Baby Dance with Carlotta and Maria. Once again in Piazza Santi Filippo e Giacomo, starting at 8:30 pm, music, entertainment and fun will involve children in a special evening full of energy and smiles.
Wednesday, 5 August, brings back one of Predazzo’s most awaited events: “A Pardac de Mercol Sera”. The village comes alive with an evening full of entertainment, local crafts and traditional flavours, transforming the streets of Predazzo into a lively meeting place where visitors can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the local community.

Thursday, 6 August, is dedicated to cinema and culture with Nuovo Cinema Dolomiti, a film series created in collaboration with the Trento Film Festival and MUSE. The event will take place at the Cinema Teatro, offering the audience the opportunity to experience the magic of cinema connected to the themes of mountains, environment and culture.
The weekend begins with the rhythm of “House Beats Meets Violin”. On Friday evening, starting at 9:00 pm, Piazza Santi Filippo e Giacomo will host a contemporary music event featuring a DJ set that combines electronic sounds with the unique melodies of the violin. A journey through modern sounds and musical experimentation.
Saturday offers a double appointment. Starting at 2:30 pm, the Firefighters’ Station Open Day invites visitors to discover the world of the local Fire Brigade through demonstrations, activities and exhibitions.
In the evening, at 8:30 pm, the celebration continues in Piazza Santi Filippo e Giacomo with “C’è Folk e Folk”, the folk groups gathering organised by the Gruppo Folk Aizenponeri.
An unmissable event dedicated to music, traditions and popular culture, closing a week of celebrations in the spirit of participation and togetherness.
Predazzo, a summer to be experienced together
August is not just a month of holidays: it is an experience to be lived from morning until night. It is the pleasure of strolling without haste, stopping in a square, listening to live music, discovering a story or sharing a special moment beneath a starry sky, evening after evening.
The events are organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Predazzo, the Pro Loco of Predazzo and local associations.
